Specializing in the energy and utilities industries, Susan has more than 15 years experience in the communications environment including, writing and editing; creating, developing and implementing complex communications projects along with her dynamic speaking ability. Other industry focus includes retail, high tech, health care, education, environment, debt management, diversity issues and corporate communications.
A graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor's degree in journalism, Susan is a former correspondent for the Houston Chronicle. She has held memberships in many professional organizations including the International Association of Business Communicators, the Public Relations Society of America, Houston Council of Writers, Association of Authors and Publishers, Women in Communications, Toastmasters International and is a very dedicated member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
